In conjunction with Seasons End Liquidation Shop, the cart was a public intervention that invited passersby to take a brief break to eat a snack, drink some tea and reflect. The cart was built by Doug Haslam.
Each night, visitors can order a snack and tea by writing down a message based on the prompt of the evening. These slips were then burned on the final night in a ceremony, ritualistically sending off the messages to someone somewhere or to just be out there in the universe. This ceremony also marked the end of the cart events and the liquidation shop.
